It is critical to test your integration prior to going live to ensure that it functions properly. For this reason, we have built the test environment to allow you mimic different payment scenarios.

Get Test Funds

To receive test funds for your tests,

  1. Log into your Shutterscore dashboard,
  2. Click on balances on the sidebar to open the balances page
  3. Click on the deposit button beside the desired currency, pick a manual deposit method,
  4. Provide the amount and any other information (e.g transaction reference and proof of payment), and complete the process.

Test Funds and Manual Deposit

When choosing a a manual deposit method in test mode,

  • Do not enter more than 100,000 as amount,
  • Enter a random transaction reference (merchant references are unique on both test and live modes, provide a reference that will not collide with your reference in real mode),
  • Upload a dummy proof of payment.

Test funds of the desired amount in the desire currency will be added to your balance.

Testing Withdrawals

You will need to have funds in your wallet before you can test any withdrawals. You can fund your wallet by following the steps outlined in the Get Test Funds section above.

Shutterscore provides withdrawal options to Bank accounts, Crypto wallets and Mobile Money wallets across a wide range of currencies (see supported currencies). As long as you have funds in your Shutterscore wallet, and the currency is not NGN (Nigerian Naira), withdrawal to random values of wallet addresses and bank account numbers will return success.

For, NGN, the selected bank must exist and the account number must exist on that bank if you want the withdrawal request to be successful.
