Payments or fund transfers received into your account are referred to as deposits. Our deposit service consists of products and features that enable you to easily receive these funds.

Deposit methods on Shutterscore can either support Single Payment Mode (to be used only by the merchant and not the merchant's customers) or Collections Mode (can be used by merchant and their customers/users).

Usually, to use a deposit method in collections mode, you may need to initiate a wallet for each of your users or customers. The importance of the wallet is to connect each deposit from that user or customer to them. However, deposit methods like Binance Pay and Dynamic Bank Deposit can be used in collection mode without creating a wallet for the individual customer. This is because new payment details are created every time a deposit is to be made and these details are tied to you as a merchant.

Again, deposit methods can also be manual or auto. Manual deposit methods require manual confirmation of deposit by Shutterscore, before the merchant's account is credited. This usually means that, a notification will have to be sent by the merchant to Shutterscore and a proof or payment will in most cases be required.

Automatic, automated or auto payment methods on the other hand do not require manual confirmation. Once a payment is made using and auto payment channel, the system will automatically check and validate the transaction before crediting the merchant, without any intervention. Hence the name - Auto deposit methods.

Manual or Auto

Manual deposit methods will usually have the word - manual in their name and slugs. This makes identifying them easy. Any payment method that does not have the word - manual, in the name, is not a manual deposit method.

You can make deposits or rather, retrieve the correct deposit details on Shutterscore in 2 ways,

Through the Dashboard

Merchant can retrieve their account funding/deposit information from the dashboard, by visiting their merchant account, picking a deposit method, making the deposit and completing the process on their dashboard. Once the deposit is processed successfully, the funds will be automatically added to the currency's balance.

Through the deposit API

Deposits to the Shutterscore platform can also be made via API. There are different deposit methods and each of these methods have their different requirements and steps to follow. Below is a list of different deposit methods and a link to the steps involved in using them.
