Direct Withdrawal

Direct Withdrawal or Direct Currency Withdrawal is the default withdrawal type on Shutterscore.

Here, the withdrawal or destination currency must be the same as the balance currency. This means that, to make a withdrawal in NGN, we must fund our Shutterscore balance with NGN.

Let's look at the process flow for when a customer on a merchant app requests a direct currency withdrawal.

Stage 1 - Requesting Withdrawal

1. Customer requests payout on merchant's application
2. Merchant receives the request, processes it and forwards it to Shutterscore
   
   

Stage 2 - Processing Withdrawal

1. Shutterscore processes the payout
2. The customer's bank account is credited with funds from the merchant’s balance
3. Merchant receives webhook notification from Shutterscore as the status of the transaction changes till the transaction is successfully completed
