Direct Deposit

Direct Deposit or Direct Currency Deposit is the default deposit type on Shutterscore.

Here, the deposit or source currency must be the same as both the destination currency and the balance currency. This means that, to fund our Shutterscore balance with NGN, we must make a deposit in NGN.

Let's look at the process flow for when a depositor makes a direct currency deposit to a merchant on Shutterscore.

Stage 1 - Making the deposit

  1. The depositor makes a deposit to Shutterscore's payment provider (Bank or Crypto)
  2. The provider receives the deposit and informs Shutterscore of the deposit via a PNS

Stage 2 - Processing the deposit

  1. Shutterscore credits the merchant balance and notifies the merchant via webhook

  2. Merchant receives webhook notification from Shutterscore and delivers value to the depositor
